A sad day for our military and families of those who gave their lives

and 245 more suspected terrorists may soon have charges dropped and could be released to "other nations".

Wonder what their new found freedom plans might entail?

I'm frankly shocked to see this as a "priority" on our new President's agenda.

Disgusting...reprehensible.... That makes me sick, and this is just the beginning, you know?

My heart breaks over this as well.

I don't "get" this man and his agenda.

Isn't it becoming painfully obvious that our new president is defiant, inexperienced, talks of "change" but stokes his administration w/ ex Clintonites, and has at the top of his list of things to accomplish letting the killers of Americans off the hook.

Did you notice who his first official phone calls were just after he took the oath? If not, it was to terror leader suspects in the Muslim nations.

Michael and Starla, you said it correctly, this is sickening and I also think it's just the beginning.

Interestingly enough McCain supports the closing of the base as well.

"Anonymous" - McCain's plan would have been to move all 'detainees' to Ft. Leavenworth (an Army base in Kansas) and expedite their cases. You can also read more about McCain's opinions on this subject and how he thought Obama was "hasty" in making this a top priority without careful consideration as to what to do with the terror suspects. I will post the link from a recent interview w/ McCain by CNN for you.

I'm curious to know if Obama even has "plans" for the suspected terror detainees and am especially concerned as to the "releasing them to other nations" plan. What "other nations" would take suspected terrorists willingly? Iraq maybe? Iran? Afgan.? Perhaps they would even host a 'hero's welcome when they arrive?

If you have additional comments please post them with an ID. Thanks.
