Good night sweet house

This past year we sold our house that we moved into when John was only 8 months old. It is also the only house E'beth had ever known with us. It held so many memories of our young children, and even though we knew when we purchased it that it would be temporary, it still held so many wonderful moments.
~
Our back yard had a babbling creek (that sometimes babbled very loudly ;) and we felt like we were living in a beautiful park. The children were drawn to the creek to toss black walnuts into it from the old tree that grew nearby. We had beautiful wildflowers that we planted all around and at almost anytime during the growing season could muster a beautiful bouquet that would rival the best florist in town.
So now, we move on.

Good Night Sweet House.

Are all of the pictures of the old house? I wasn't sure. I love the location near the creek and the front of the house is beautiful. I think you have the same granite as we do.

Hi mob.
All pics are of the old house. Our creek is rather scrawny compared your creeks in Tahoe.. lol.

it was lovely & must be hard to leave. we are leaving our 1st place too (a very long temporary stay). At this point I cannot wait, but wonder if I'll have any sentimental feelings? probably not.

can't wait to hear about the new place...

Oh I know that loss so intimately- what a beautiful place. I'm sorry you had to say good-bye but trust this new house will be filled with exactly what it needs: the love and laughter only family can bring.

Well, Susan....I for sure hate that you are gone from that house because it means we are no longer neighbors! I miss you guys being across the street. We sure always loved seeing John and Elizabeth out playing...Eliza will miss them this summer. But at least you all are not too far away!!

Love you,
Donna
